Through these sustained efforts, Asha Nivas strives to strengthen cultural identity, bridge communication gaps, and foster a more informed, inclusive, and harmonious community.
The ‘SIRPI’ Cultural Troupe played a significant role in community outreach and awareness generation during the year. The troupe utilized various traditional and interactive mediums such as puppet shows, street theatre, villupattu, debates, and rallies to effectively communicate social messages.
These programs reached a broad spectrum of beneficiaries, including school-going children, street children, residents of shelter homes, youth groups, Self-Help Group (SHG) women, and parents of sponsored children. Through culturally engaging performances, the troupe successfully conveyed important messages on social issues, rights, responsibilities, and community development.
